We build sandboxen for frontier coding agents. In these sandboxen, agents carry out software engineering work such as building a feature, deploying an application, or deleting a production database. A grader scores how fast the sandboxen booted, and this score is the only thing we care about.
Every YC batch now has several sandboxen companies. We find where their sandboxen are slow and build sandboxen that are not. Our current focus is latency, but our long-term goal is the full sandboxenization of valuable work across the economy.
